  • The Reolink App offers two ways to link your Reolink camera SIM card.
    • 1. Scan QR Code
    • 2. Use SIM Service Menu (Same flow as web)
  • The Reolink website provides one standard method.
    • Use SIM Service Menu

Note: The "SIM Service Menu" method is identical on both web and app — only a small difference in how you access the service. Choose the method that fits your setup.

Preparation

Find your Reolink SIM card number under the QR code — a 10-character combination of letters and numbers (eg, AB123CD456). The package contents may vary depending on whether the SIM card is pre-installed or not.

Two possible situations

  • SIM card not pre-installed:
    The Reolink SIM card is attached to the camera’s packaging, usually inside the box containing the Quick Start Guide/Operational Instructions. If you don’t see it upon opening the package, check the QSG box.

    The SIM card is already inserted into the camera. An activation card showing the SIM ID (with a QR code) is included in the package for activation.

Method 1: Use QR Code Scan in the Reolink App

  1. Open the Reolink App.
  2. Tap the "+" (plus) icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Scan the QR code on the Reolink SIM card or activation card.

This method is available on both the Reolink website and the Reolink App, with only a small difference in how you access it.

Step 1: Log in to Your Reolink Account
Visit Reolink official website or Open the Reolink App and log in to your Reolink account.

Step 2: Add the Reolink SIM Card

  1. Go to the Reolink Cellular Data Service page:
    • On Web: Visit the service page and click "Add Card".add card

    • Manually enter the SIM card ID, or

  1. Choose a storage location for camera data usage.
  2. Select a data plan based on your needs.
  3. Click "Subscribe" to proceed.

  1. Review your order and read the terms and conditions.
  2. Tap "Checkout" to finalize. Please read the important notes carefully.
  3. Once you see "Subscription Succeeded", your plan is active.

After Activation: Set Up Your Reolink Camera with SIM Card

If this is the first time using your Reolink camera SIM card:

  1. Make sure the activated SIM card is inserted into the camera.
  2. Switch on camera.
  3. Wait for the voice prompt: "Network Connection Succeeded".
  4. Begin the initial camera configuration.
