How Reolink Add-On Data Works

A Reolink Add-on Data Plan (or data add-on) is an extra data package that supplements your Reolink SIM card when its primary data plan runs out. This ensures your camera stays online without interruption.

  • ✅Automatic Use
    When your Reolink SIM card data plan runs out, the camera will automatically switch to any available add-on data plan.
    Note: The Reolink data add-on purchased earliest or expiring soonest will be used first.
  • ❌When Add-Ons Cannot Be Used
    If the main Reolink SIM data plan has expired (not just consumed), add-on data cannot be applied—even if it is still valid.
    • In this case, you may cancel the Reolink data add-on. Data already consumed will be billed, and unused data will be refunded.

How to Purchase a Reolink Add-On Data Plan

Follow these steps to buy extra data add-ons for your Reolink camera.

Step 1. Access the SIM Card Management Page

  • Via Web Browser
    1. Log in to the Reolink Cloud Dashboard using the account associated with your Reolink SIM card.
    2. Go to Reolink Cellular Data Service and click the arrow next to your SIM card ID.

  • Via Reolink App
    1. Open the Reolink App.
    2. Tap Services > SIM Service and select your SIM card ID.
    Note: The remaining steps are the same in both browser and app.

Step 2. Purchase an Add-On Data Plan

  1. Under Subscription Settings, tap the three-dot menu
  2. Select Buy add-on plan.
  3. Choose your preferred Reolink data add-on plan and click Subscribe.
  4. Review the Rules of Use before confirming.
  5. After purchase, you can check data usage under the Usage section.

Managing or Cancelling Add-on Data

  • You can cancel a Reolink data add-on at any time.
  • Any unused add-on data will be refunded after deducting the data already consumed.
