Scene Mode allows you to quickly enable or disable functions of all your Reolink devices connected to your Home Hub simply by switching the scene mode. This feature makes everything easier and more convenient.
Applies to: Reolink Home Hub, Hub 1, Reolink Home Hub Pro, Hub P1
1. What is Scene Mode
Scene Mode allows you to easily enable or disable functions for all devices by switching between modes in the Reolink app, including alerts, sirens, recording, PTZ tracking, and more. There are three default modes: Disarmed, Home, and Away. You can customize these modes to suit your preferences.
Additionally, you can create up to six scenes (including the three default ones), five of which allow you to customize settings for individual devices, offering flexible options to meet various needs.
Note: The functions of different devices may vary.
2. How to Set up Scene Mode
Three Default Scene Modes
Disarmed: In this scene, all alarm, notification, and recording functions will be disabled. Settings for this scene cannot be edited. It is only recommended when you want to avoid all interruptions from your cameras.
Note: In the Disarmed scene, cameras will NOT alarm or record. Please ensure that you do not need these functions before you enable the mode.
Home: In this scene, all devices enable recording, while alert notifications and siren triggering are disabled. It's recommended for use when you are at home to minimize disturbances.
Away: In this scene, all devices enable tracking and alarm notifications, providing comprehensive monitoring. It's recommended when you are away and want to keep everything under control.

Access Camera Scene Switch
After enabling and setting up scene mode, you can switch between the scene modes through your Home Hub.
Launch the Reolink App and tap the “>” icon for Home Hub, and then select the scene at the top of the Home Hub's homepage.
After switching, all devices connected to your Home Hub will be configured to the selected scene.
Disable Scene Mode
If you don't want to use the Scene Modes feature, you can disable it in the Reolink App. Disabling will remove the scene switch button from the Home Hub's homepage, and all devices will return to their previous working state.
Step 1. Launch the Reolink App and tap the “>” icon to enter the Home Hub's homepage.
Step 2. Tap Scene Modes and then tap Disable Scenes at the bottom of the page.
Step 3. To check if the feature is disabled, return to the Home Hub's homepage. If you see the scene switching bar at the top, the feature is still enabled; if not, it is successfully disabled.
Delete Scene Mode
If a scene mode is incorrectly configured and needs to be recreated, or if a scene mode is no longer needed, follow these steps to delete it:
Step1. Go to the Scene Modes settings page.
Step 2. Tap the “···” icon to enter the Edit Scene page. Tap the Delete button at the bottom.
Step3. Tap Delete when a confirmation dialog appears. Once the success toast notification shows on the page, it means the scene mode has been successfully deleted.
Note: Before you delete a scene mode, make sure to switch to another scene mode first.
3. Important Notice of Scene Mode
Before enabling a scene mode, ensure that alert notifications, siren, recording, PTZ tracking, and other functions on devices connected to Home Hub are enabled and properly configured; otherwise, the corresponding actions may not be triggered as expected when the scene mode is enabled.
For example, if you enable a camera's recording function in Home scene mode, but the function is not activated in the camera's settings or the current period is not included in its recording schedule, then the camera will not record.
