Network Time Protocol (NTP) is a protocol that helps the device time to be synchronized in a network. Here we will guide you to use NTP to synchronize the time of your camera/NVR via a web browser. 

Applies to: Reolink NVRs and cameras excluding the battery-powered ones, B400, D400, B800, D800, Reolink Lumus, Reolink E1, and Reolink E1 Pro.

Step 1. Log in to your camera via a web browser. Click the gear icon on the top right to get to the device settings page.

Step 2. Go to Network > Advanced> NTP Settings > Set Up.

Step 3. Click Synchronize. If you get a prompt Succeeded, then the NTP settings are synchronized successfully.

Note: Enable Auto-Synchronize and set up a time interval (60-65535 mins) so that the time will be synced automatically on a regular basis. Click Save to save the settings.

If the web interface of your camera is an old version, you can refer to the steps below. 

Step 1. Log in to your camera via a web browser and go to the device settings page. 

Step 2. Go to Network >Advanced >NTP page.

Step 3. Click Synchronize and you may get the NTP settings succeeded message at the bottom, then it synchronizes succeeded. If it fails, please contact the support team for help.
