How to Set up Motion Detection Recording to Micro SD Card for Reolink Cameras

This section offers you guides on how to set up motion detection recording saved to the micro SD card installed in your camera. Please read patiently and you will find what you need.

Applies to: All Reolink cameras with a micro SD card slot.

Note: Please check the status of the micro SD card and make sure the card is working before setting the motion detection recordings to the micro SD card.

You may follow the steps below to set motion detection recordings to a Micro SD card.

For PoE and WiFi Cameras:

Step 1. Configure the motion-detecting area and sensitivity correctly.

Step 2. Configure the recording schedule.

For Battery-powered Cameras:

Method 1: The steps below are applied to battery-powered cameras that do not support smart detection, such as Argus 2, Argus Pro, Reolink Go, and Go PT.

Step 1. Enable the PIR sensor.

Step 2. Configure alarm settings such as the PIR schedule and sensitivity.

The camera will start recording according to the PIR schedule you've set.
