This article introduces the bandwidth required for LiveView, cloud uploading, email notifications, and push notifications.

Applies to: All Reolink battery-powered cameras except for Argus, and Go series cameras

1. Bandwidth for Live View

Note: The bandwidth of Reolink battery-powered cameras depends on the stream type you choose/set.

If you choose Clear stream, the bandwidth is the same as the Bitrate under clear mode.
If you choose Fluent stream, the bandwidth is the same as the Bitrate under fluent mode.

In Clear mode: the maximum Bitrate is 2048 kbps

In Fluent mode: the maximum Bitrate is 512 kbps

You may change the bitrate and set the stream mode to view the cameras.

2. Bandwidth for cloud uploading

In Clear mode: the maximum Bitrate is 2048 kbps

In Fluent mode: the maximum Bitrate is 512 kbps

You may set up the upload video resolution according to your needs.

3. Bandwidth for email notifications

With the image attached: 250kbps

Without the image attached: 2kbps

You may set up the email attachment according to your needs.

4. Bandwidth for push notifications

Bandwidth for push notifications can be ignored, as the push file is very small (less than 1KB) so it takes up a very small amount of bandwidth.

If you have the camera upload a clear video(maximum bitrate) to Reolink cloud, live view the camera in the clear stream (maximum bitrate) on Reolink App at the same time and have enabled the email notification with an image attached, then the total bandwidth needs to be: 2048+2048+250=4346 kbps.
