Q: How does the Reolink battery-powered camera record?
A: Reolink battery-powered camera records based on the motion detection (used PIR sensor), and you may record to the micro SD card (optional) or upload to the Reolink Cloud. Please note battery-powered cameras don't support 24/7 recording.
Q: What's the PIR sensor?
A: PIR is a passive infrared sensor, it is used to detect the motion in front of the camera (limited area and depends on the installation).

Q: How long does the battery last?
A: Reolink battery-powered camera will enter the standby mode to save the battery life when no motion triggers and the user accessing, for the normal triggers and using(10 times/day and 1 minute/time), it will last about 2 months.
Q: How does the Reolink battery-powered camera alarm when the motion is triggered?
A: Reolink battery-powered camera provides Push Notification/Email Alerts/Siren (based on the camera speaker and supports customize audio) for the motion-triggered and you may set the schedule to control the working time as you need.
Q: What's the software I can use with the Reolink battery-powered camera?
A: Reolink battery-powered camera only supports Reolink App and Reolink Client to avoid battery abuse.
Q: How to remote access the Reolink battery-powered camera?
A: Reolink battery-powered camera provides UID(based on P2P) for remote accessing and you may just add the camera via UID to log in it remotely without any special settings.
Q: Why the speaker is not loud when I used the 2-way audio?
A: For the Reolink battery-powered, the loud volume will drain out the battery life soon. If you thought the volume is too quiet, please provide a short illustrative video of the sound and contact our support to check.
