This article will show you how to shut down Reolink NVRs via a monitor.
Applies to: All Reolink NVRs.
For PoE NVRs with hardware version H3MB18/N2MB02/N3MB01/N5MB01/N6MB07/N7MB01
Log in to your PoE NVR on a monitor and then go to the Settings page, click Power, you will find three buttons on this page.
Shutdown: Click Shutdown when you want to log out of this system. Then, switch off the NVR or unplug the power adapter to shut it down completely.
Reboot: Click Reboot when you want to reboot the system, then the system will reboot itself.
Lock: If you have enabled password login on the monitor, you can click Lock to lock the NVR, but when you want to log in again, you need to input the password which you created to log in the system.
For PoE NVRs with hardware version H3MB17/H3MB02/H3MB06/H3MB18
Log in to your PoE NVR on a monitor and then go to the Menu > Shutdown page, you will find three buttons on this page.
Shutdown: Click Shutdown when you want to log out of this system and then click OK to continue. After that, it is normal that NVR still shows the output. Then, switch off the NVR or unplug the power adapter to shut it down completely.
Reboot: Click Reboot when you want to reboot the system, then click OK to continue.
Lock: Click Lock to Lock the device, but when you want to log in again, you need to input the password which you created to log in to the system.
For Reolink WiFi NVRs
Log in to your WiFi NVR on a monitor and click Shutdown on the Menu bar, you will find three buttons on this page.
Shutdown/Reboot: Click Shutdown/Reboot when you want to log out/reboot this system and then click OK to continue.
Lock: Once you click Lock and want to log in again, you need to input the password which you created, then click OK to log in.
