Sometimes, our customers will encounter the problem that they fail to access our cameras. When they come to us for help, we usually will ask them whether they can not access the Reolink camera via LAN or WAN. Some customers might not understand what LAN and WAN mean.
LAN: When your camera and your cellphone/PC are both connected to the same network of your router, you try to use your cell phone to access the camera under this situation, then means you are in LAN.
WAN: When your camera is connected to the network of your router in your home, your cell phone is connected to the 4G network or a different WiFi to connect to the camera, then means you are in WAN to access the camera.
