All Reolink NVRs and Cameras( exclude the cameras in NVR security kit).
We usually get confused by three passwords and don't know which one to enter. On Reolink App, when we log into the Reolink App and it'll ask a password. That's the password for Reolink App like the picture below.
It will only ask you to enter this if you enable app password in Reolink App like the picture below. You can find this by clicking on the three lines on the left top corner of the Reolink App and then go to Settings. You'll see App password there. It will not ask you to enter the app password anymore if you disable it.
The password for camera is the one you created when you configured it for the 1st time with the Reolink App.
After you added the camera successfully to the Reolink App for the 1st time, there is no need to enter the password of the camera anymore when you log back into the app. It will only ask you to enter the password again if you change the password of the camera or the camera disconnects from the network for some reason and you can not access it anymore with the Reolink App. Usually, it'll ask you to type in the password of the camera to sign in when you try to preview the camera.
The PC Reolink Client password is different from Reolink App password or the camera password. You also need to configure that by yourself. On the Reolink Client, you may click on the gear icon on the right top corner to go to the Local Settings. You'll see Modify Password there like the picture below,
If you never created a password for the Reolink Client before, please leave the old password as blank and then enter a password you want for the PC app which is the Reolink Client. The password for Reolink App, the password for the camera and the password for Reolink Client are all separate. They are different things. You can also set them all to be the same to be remembered more conveniently.
