If you fail to receive push notification on iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max, you may follow the troubleshooting tips listed below to solve the problem. There're several possible causes for the problem:
Cause 1. Configuration changes during upgrade
Solution: If you have lately upgraded the phone system or Reolink App, please refer to this article to properly enable the push notification for Reolink App on your phone.
Cause 2. Incorrect settings on the phone
Solution: If you can receive alerts emails or push notification from other software like Facebook, Twitter etc, please refer to this article to properly enable the push notification for Reolink App on your phone.
Cause 3. Poor network connection
Solution: If you're using mobile data and your iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max has two SIM card slots, please ensure that the SIM card is inserted into the major slot rather than the secondary slot to avoid weak signal and delay on push notification.
If you're connected to a wireless network, please select the WiFi with strong signal.
Cause 4. Incorrect network settings
Solution: Please go to General >> Reset >> Reset Network Settings to reset your network settings and see if it works.
Cause 5. Bugs in Reolink App
Solution: Please uninstall and reinstall the lasted version of Reolink App on your phone, then enable push notification and see if it works.
