Applies to: Reolink Argus, Argus 2, Argus Pro, Argus PT, and Argus Eco.
Sometimes you have set up Reolink Argus series camera successfully via Reolink App and it could work well on the phone App, but you failed to add it to Reolink Client and received the error prompt as the picture is shown below. You may refer to the troubleshooting tips listed below to solve the problem.
Cause 1. Incorrect Register Mode
Solution: Reolink Argus series cameras can only be added to Reolink Client by UID, not the IP address or domain name. Therefore, if you want to add the camera by IP Address or Domain Name, it will not work. Please choose UID as the register mode and enter the UID, Password and Device Name, then click OK to add.
Cause 2. Enter the Wrong UID
Solution: If you still get the error prompt, please double check if you enter the correct UID to log in the device.
