Reset Using the Reset Hole
Applies to: Argus PT, Argus PT 2K, Argus PT Lite, Argus Series B420, Argus PT Ultra (Hardware version: BIPC_560MIX16M35SD938MP)

Switch on the camera.

Rotate the lens to locate the reset hole, which is near the microSD card slot.

Insert a reset pin and press and hold until you hear a short beep or the voice prompt “Please release the reset button”.

Release the pin. The camera is now factory reset.

Reset Using the Power Button
Applies to: Argus PT Ultra (Hardware version: BIPC_NT2BNO28MPW4SD15V5)

Turn on the camera by pressing and holding the power button for 2 seconds.

Press the power button three times in a row to perform a hard reset.
Initial Setup
After resetting, if you hear a startup prompt (such as a welcome message, a beep, or repeated voice guidance), it means the camera has been successfully reset and is now waiting for configuration.
There is no need to reset again. Use your phone to scan the square QR code on the camera body or manually enter its UID (located below the square QR code, starting with 9527) to complete the setup as instructed.
