Applies to: All Reolink cameras/NVRs.
*Note: Please ensure you can log in the cameras/NVRs on the LAN before the troubleshooting.
Reolink cameras/NVRs provide UID (based on P2P) for the remote accessing. If you got the Login failed/connection failed/timeout error message when you tried to log in the camera remotely via the UID, here are the suggestions for you:
Check the UID settings and information:Refer to Enable UID for Reolink Products to check if you enable the UID for the devices. If you used the battery-powered camera, please refer to Find UID of Reolink Products to check if the UID you used is correct.
Check the UDP ports and network firewalls:Refer to Use NTP to Synchronize Time to check if you could sync the time succeeded.
If not, please check the NTP settings and your local network settings. Ensure all the UDP ports are opened and the firewalls were turned off.
If you were on some special networks (hospital/hotel/school/office), please try to contact the IT admin for some help.
Check the login terminal network settings:
If you used the Reolink Client (Windows), please refer to Allow Reolink Client to Pass through Windows Firewall on Windows 10 to check the firewall settings.
If you used the Reolink Client (Mac), please refer to Allow Reolink Client to Pass through Windows Firewall on Mac to check the firewall settings.
If you used the Reolink App on your phone, please try to switch the network (change to the 4G network or another WiFi network to check) you used.
