Q: What kind of batteries work with the camera?
A: CR123A batteries work with the camera.
To obtain the best battery life, please DO NOT mix new and old batteries in use or batteries from different brands.
Q: Can I use rechargeable batteries?
A: Yes, rechargeable batteries with a voltage range between 3.7V – 4.2V is compatible, but the camera does not support to charge the batteries directly.
Q: How long can a full level battery work?
A: Normally the new batteries for Reolink Keen can last for:
Stand-by: 6 months;
Constant working: 660 minutes for day session or 300 minutes in night mode (Keen)
840 minutes for day session or 420 minutes in night mode (Argus)
960 minutes for day session or 540 minutes in night mode (Argus 2&Argus Pro)
Working duration of batteries from different brands may be different.
Q: Can I replace the SD card? What is the maximum SD card storage supported?
A: Common SD card is supported and the maximum storage supported is 64GB.
Q: Can I power off the camera? How do I do so?
A: There is no power button on the camera or power off option in Reolink App.
If you want to power off the camera, please take out all the batteries.
If the Keen will not be used for a very long time, please do take out all the batteries for safety reason.
Q: What do I do if I don’t want to use the PIR alarm?
A: Please take out the batteries in PIR sensor.
Q: How many PIR sensors can be added to one Keen?
A: Keen supports only one PIR sensor so far.
Q: Can Keen work in LAN? How to prevent unauthorized access to my camera?
A: Keen works on LAN. Please, set up login password once Keen is connected to the Network to prevent unauthorized access using default password from unknown users.
Q: Why the Keen does not have an audio alarm when motion is detected?
A: Please make sure Audio Alarm is enabled, as to how to configure it, please refer to How to set Audio Alarm when Motion is Detected
