Applies to Reolink cameras supporting SD card.
In this FAQ we offer a few steps for you to troubleshoot the problem of no records saved in your Micro SD card when you try to playback the recordings from the Micro SD card.
Follow this guide to search recordings in Playback and check more dates to see if there are any recordings in any of the past days. If you still cannot find any recordings, please do some preliminary troubleshooting as follows:
Step 1. Confirm that the Micro SD card has been identified/recognized. If the Micro SD card appears and indicates how much free space is left like shown below, then the Micro SD card is well recognized. If not, please check whether it meets the requirements.
Step 2. Check to confirm the below settings：
a. Make sure the PIR Sensor and Record option are ON.
b. Make sure PIR schedule properly configured
Confirm the dates and time periods when you want the camera to alarm you, and make sure they are chosen in blue.
Step 3. Check to see if the camera can be correctly triggered.
a. Enable Siren. Wave your hand in front of the camera to trigger the PIR Siren. If you can hear alarm then it means your PIR is working properly.
b. Configure Email Settings and turn on Push and Email Alerts. Wave your hand in front of the camera and see if whether your phone receives PUSH or E-mail notifications. If it sends push or E-mail notifications then it means your PIR is working properly.
If your camera can be triggered properly but still no recordings in SD card, please turn to Step 4.
Step 4. We suggest you format your SD card into FAT32 to test whether it can save the recordings.
Notes: If you format your SD card in your Mac then we suggest you convert the format into MS-DOS to test.
Step 5. If you try the steps above and still no recordings in your Micro SD card you may try another working SD card in the camera to check or please contact support and provide UID & password for us to check for you.
