This guide may help if you have trouble with one (or more) of the following:
- NVR stops recording and not able to playback all of a sudden
- Checked HDD info and it says “HDD Error” or “Bad”, like this:
Step 1. Unpower the NVR, and use a screwdriver to open the NVR box gently. Then find the plugs of the hard drive, disconnect and two plugs and re-plug them in securely. After that, cover the NVR lightly, repower on and see if things are corrected. If not, go to Step 2.
Step 2. Uncover the NVR, find a substitute HDD around your house and see if the NVR works properly with the substitute HDD (verified working).
Step 3. If you couldn’t seem to find a substitute HDD, please turn to Reolink Support, report this situation and ask for more suggestions.
