If you want your Reolink devices to run the latest firmware, please follow the steps below to enable Auto Upgrade function for it so that when there is firmware released.
Applies to: All Reolink battery-powered cameras, Wi-Fi/PoE cameras with smart detection, Reolink NVRs, Reolink Home Hub, Hub 1, Reolink Home Hub Pro, Hub P1.
With Auto Update enabled, when a new firmware version is released online, the device will automatically upgrade to the new firmware once it detects the update. Since firmware versions are rolled out gradually, if the device does not detect the new firmware, it will show "This is the latest version available" when you tap Update Manually. If needed, you can check for the latest firmware at the Reolink Download Center. (For battery-powered cameras, click "Submit a Request" below to contact Reolink Support if you need help verifying the firmware version.) Below are the steps to enable this feature in the Reolink App and Client.
Via Reolink App
Step 1. Tap on the gear icon > camera name to enter the Device Info page.
Step 2. Tap Update Device, and enable the Auto Update button on this page(turn it blue).
Via Reolink Client
Before the settings, make sure you have downloaded and installed Reolink Client on your PC.
Step 1. Launch Reolink Client, log in to the device, and click the Device Settings gear icon.
Step 2. Go to System > Maintenance > Firmware Update page. Enable Auto Upgrade (turn it blue).
