Applies to: Reolink battery-powered cameras.
Reolink battery-powered cameras use PIR sensors to detect motions. You may follow the methods below to configure the PIR to help you monitor your home.
1. PIR is enabled all the time by default.
2. PIR schedule will affect the actions based on motion detection (including email alerts/record/siren/push). If the PIR is disabled, then all the actions (including email alerts/record/siren/push) will not work.
Step 1. Set the PIR schedule to control the active time of motion detection.
Step 2. Set the PIR sensitivity to control your device reacting toward a different level of motions.
Set up PIR Sensitivity via Reolink Software
Reolink battery-powered cameras use PIR sensors to detect motions. The PIR sensor can be triggered by the temperature difference when an object passes by.
Given the working principle of battery-powered cameras,
1. The cameras cannot be triggered only by human activities.
2. Reolink battery-powered cameras don't support to set up motion detection zone.
