If you use Gmail address to send Email alerts, you need to login to your Gmail account in a browser and check a few settings:
Turn off 2-factor authentication
2-factor authentication is a common way used in Gmail to keep your account secure. It is used for protecting your account even if someone has found out your password. If this option is ON, you will have to verify your identity by inputting SMS code, which is not supported by Reolink App.
You can make sure you have this option OFF by checking:
Allow Less Secure Apps
1. Please click the “Google apps” button and choose “My Account“.
2. Click on “Connected apps & sites” under “Sign-in security“.
3. Scroll the page down and find “Allow less secure apps: ON“, it is not on by default, please turn it on.
