Applies to: All Reolink NVRs and Cameras.
If you use Hotmail/Live Mail, please make sure that you have set the Email Server (SMTP Server) according to the following information.
Server name: smtp.outlook.com
Port: 587
SSL or TLS: ON
To set up (Outlook) email alerts in Reolink Client, you need to finish the following two main settings.
1. Settings on Email Address Account
Step 1. Log in to Outlook/Hotmail mailbox, then click and choose View all Outlook settings.
Step 2. Go to Mail->Sync email page, find POP and IMAP settings, then choose Yes for POP options, and check the SMTP setting information.
2. Settings on Reolink Client
Step 1. Choose your camera and Click to enter the Device Settings page.
Step 2. Tap on Network Advanced -> E-mail Setup button for setting Outlook e-mail.
Step 3. Input SMTP Server, Port, Sender Address, Password and Recipient Address according to the information in Email Account Settings -> Step 2. Click E-mail Test, then a prompt “Send Email Succeed” will pop out at the bottom of this page.
Note: If e-mail test failed, please double-check the Email addresses and password, and make sure that your camera is properly connected to the network.
