How to Charge Reolink Battery-powered Cameras

Reolink battery-powered cameras offer convenient charging options. You may charge them via a power adapter or solar panel. This guide will walk you through both methods to ensure your camera stays operational.

Argus Series

Argus PT Series

Applies to: Argus PT Ultra, Argus PT Lite, Argus PT 2K, Argus PT

Method 1: Charge the Camera with a DC 5V2A power adapter.

Note: If your camera has a USB-C port, you must use a USB-A to USB-C charging cable.

Method 2: Charge the Camera with a Reolink Solar Panel.

For the auto-tracking version of the Argus PT Ultra, you can mount the solar panel directly on top of the camera for integrated mounting.
Argus Eco Series

Applies to: Argus Eco Ultra, Argus Eco Pro, Argus Eco

Method 1: Charge the Camera with a DC 5V2A power adapter.

Note: If your camera has a USB-C port, you must use a USB-A to USB-C charging cable.

The battery of Argus 2 and Argus Pro can be removed from the camera. You may refer to the following three methods to charge Argus 2 and Argus Pro.

Method 1: Pull out the battery and open the charging port, then connect the battery with the USB adapter via a USB cable and plug it into the electrical outlet.

Method 2: Directly plug the camera into the USB adapter (then to the electrical outlet) for working & charging.

Method 3: Charge the camera with Reolink Solar Panel.

4G LTE Series

Reolink Go Series

Applies to: Go Ultra, Go Plus, Go

The battery of Reolink Go series is removable. You may refer to the following three methods to charge them.

Method 1: Charge the Battery Separately.

Open the back cover by twisting it a little, then pull out the battery. Connect the battery with the USB adapter via a USB cable and plug it into the electrical outlet.

Note: If your camera has a USB-C port, you must use a USB-A to USB-C charging cable.

Method 2: Charge the Camera with the Battery Inserted in.

Method 3: Charge the Camera with Reolink Solar Panel.
Reolink Go PT Series/Ranger PT Series

The battery of the TrackMix LTE Plus series is externally housed. To enable solar charging, connect the Reolink Solar Panel Plus to the battery inside the mount, and then connect the battery to the camera. This completes the circuit, allowing the panel to charge the battery.
