Applies to: Reolink battery-powered cameras
The batteries of Reolink battery-powered cameras can be divided into two types: the non-rechargeable ones (such as the CR123A lithium batteries used in Reolink Argus and Keen) and the non-rechargeable ones (such as the 18650 lithium-ion batteries used in Reolink Go, Argus Pro and Argus 2). You may follow this guide to see their differences in detail.
Primary (Non-Rechargeable) Batteries
Primary batteries are designed to be used once, then discarded. Despite of the sloping discharge curve, they're convenient and cost less per battery in a short term. Generally, primary batteries have a higher capacity and initial voltage than rechargeable batteries.
Secondary (Rechargeable) Batteries
A rechargeable battery, storage battery, secondary cell, or accumulator is a type of electrical battery which can be charged, discharged into a load, and recharged many times, as opposed to a disposable or primary battery, which is supplied fully charged and discarded after use.
