Email Test Failed and Sent Email Fail may be caused by not allowing less secure apps to access the email account. You may follow the steps below to change the settings.
Step 1. Log into your G-mail account and go to Google apps -> My Account.
Step 2. Click Connected apps & sites under Sign-in & security.
Step 3. Scroll the page down to Allow less secure apps and click to turn it on.

Step 4. Turn off 2-factor authentication.

Step 5. Allow access to your Google account.
If you're logging in a new device, click to allow access to your Google account.
