3. How to Install a Reolink Security Camera Corner Mount

The Reolink RLA-BKC1 corner mounting bracket is easy to install. Follow the steps below to ensure optimal results:

What You’ll Need

• RLA-BKC1 corner mounting bracket
• A compatible Reolink camera 
• Drill and drill bits (not included)
• Screws and wall anchors (provided with the bracket)
• Screwdriver (not included)

Installation Steps

1. Choose the Right Corner

Select the wall corner for camera installation, ensuring the wall can support the combined weight of the bracket and camera.

2. Mark and Drill Holes

Hold the bracket against the corner, mark the drilling spots with a pencil, and drill holes. For better stability, especially on softer surfaces like drywall, use the included wall anchors.

3. Attach the Bracket

Align the bracket with the drilled holes and insert the screws. Screw tight with a screwdriver to secure the bracket firmly in place.

4. Mount the Camera

If the camera has a tail cable, thread it through the pre-drilled hole.

Then, firmly screw the camera onto the bracket.

Done! Adjust the camera’s angle for the best coverage.

Differences in Installation for Different Reolink Camera Models (Pattern A/B/E)

For different Reolink camera models, the mounting requirements may vary slightly. Understanding these differences ensures secure and optimal setup. Below, we outline the key distinctions across different Reolink camera models.

Duo Series

• 1. Install the camera bracket first:

  Attach the camera bracket to the bottom of the camera.

  

  2. Secure the mounting plate:

  Align the camera's mounting plate with Pattern A and fasten it with screws in the side-by-side screw holes.

  

  3. Mount the camera:

  Insert the protruding part of the mounting plate into the groove at the bottom of the camera bracket, then secure the camera to the mounting plate with screws.

  

• E1 Outdoor Series, Argus PT Series, and Go PT Series

  1. Remove the mounting plate:

  Pull the button on the bracket downwards and simultaneously turn the mounting plate counterclockwise to remove it.

  

  2. Attach the camera to the mounting plate:

  Align the stud on the mounting plate with the threaded hole on the camera, then screw the plate clockwise to secure them.

  

  3. Mount the bracket:

  Screw the camera bracket to the corner mount bracket firmly. 

  

  4. Mount the camera:

  If the camera has a tail cable, thread it through the pre-drilled hole. Align the bracket with the mounting plate, turn the camera base counterclockwise, and you’ll hear a click, indicating the camera is securely mounted.

  

• Go Ranger PT

  1. Prepare the camera:

  Place the camera into the bracket, ensuring the hole aligns with the antenna post and charging port, as shown in the picture.
  Open the rubber plug on the top of the bracket, secure the camera with the hex key, and close it tightly. Then, install the antenna.

  

  2. Install the camera:

  Secure the camera to the bracket with the screws.

  

• Argus Eco Series and Argus 4 Series

  1. Screw the base of the camera bracket:

  Rotate to detach the base from the bracket, then screw the base onto the RLA-BKC1 bracket.

  

  2. Mount the camera:

  Attach the camera bracket to the base and secure the camera by turning the bracket part clockwise as shown in the chart.
