With Reolink's ongoing product updates and commitment to enhancing user experience, Reolink has introduced Fullscreen Mode in the app to accommodate various devices and achieve the best preview effect.

Applies to: All cameras and Reolink App versions 4.44 and above.

This article will be divided into three parts:

1. Classic Mode VS Fullscreen Mode

2. How to Change Default Video Player on Reolink App

3. Visual Effect on Different Models

Classic Mode VS Fullscreen Mode

Classic Mode

Classic Mode has a fixed 1:1 aspect ratio. The 1:1 aspect ratio is a standard format suitable for displaying images and videos. It simplifies comparing content by avoiding visual distortion caused by differing aspect ratios.

Fullscreen Mode

Fullscreen players support a wide range of resolutions, ensuring a consistent experience across devices. Clicking anywhere on the screen hides the top and bottom toolbars, allowing for an unobstructed view. Additionally, pinch-to-zoom functionality lets users adjust the image to fit the screen, enhancing the ability to view detailed content. Fullscreen Mode will be more suitable for Reolink Doorbell, and may not see much difference for other models.
