We’re excited to announce the release of Reolink App v4.54! This update brings one of the most significant changes to date: a redesigned homepage layout that enhances usability and provides quicker access to your devices and services.

In this article, we’ll walk you through the main changes introduced in version 4.54 so you can make the most of the new experience.

1. Firmware Update Notification Optimization

For all Reolink plug-in devices (such as plug-in cameras, NVRs, Home Hubs, etc.), if you see the following message on the firmware update page in the v4.54 Reolink App:

"This is the latest version available on the App. If needed, please visit the Download Center on the Reolink official website to check for updates."

This means no newer firmware has been detected via the App for this device.
To ensure your device is up-to-date, we recommend visiting the Reolink Download Center to manually check for available firmware and perform a manual upgrade if necessary. How to Download the Firmware and Install Manually

2. Major Layout Redesign

One of the most noticeable updates in v4.54 is the redesigned navigation and layout structure. The previous sidebar has been removed and replaced with three new bottom tabs: Home, Services, and Me.

Let’s take a closer look at each section:

  • Home (formerly “Camera” tab)

This is the new device list page, where you can now view all NVRs, Home Hubs, standalone cameras, and IoT devices in one place.
Previously, IoT devices had a separate page. Now they’re fully integrated.
