This article will show you how to change WiFi band to 5GHz/2.4GHz through Wi-Fi Band Preference via Reolink Client.
Applies to: TrackMix WiFi, Duo Floodlight WiFi, E1 Zoom (hardware version IPC_566), E1 Pro (hardware version IPC_566), E1 Outdoor Pro, RLC-523WA, RLC-811WA
Before you start: Ensure you have the latest version of the Reolink Client and the camera's firmware. (Check for firmware updates for your camera on Download Center – Reolink）
Step 1. Clickon the camera list to enter Settings page, and go to Network>Wi-Fi.
Step 2. Click Wi-Fi Band Preference on Wi-Fi Settings page which provides three options: Auto, Only 5GHz, and Only 2.4GHz. If your router supports a dual-band Wi-Fi network, you can choose the frequency that suits your needs.
Auto: Allows the camera to connect to any available WiFi frequency channel
Only 5GHz: Change WiFi to 5GHz
Only 2.4GHz: Change WiFi to 2.4GHz
