RLN12W is a brand new Reolink WiFi NVR. The connection of wireless cameras is supported, which is cost-saving and makes cabling unnecessary. Utilizing dual-band WiFi 6 ensures stable, high-speed data transfers. Keep on reading to know more about the RLN12W.
1. Appearance
Note:
- Power LED: Solid green to indicate the NVR is powered on.
- HDD LED: Flashing red to indicate the hard drive is recording.
- The LAN port for internet needs to be connected to the LAN port of your router. The NVR does not support wireless connection to the router.
- The LAN ports for IPC can only provide a network connection for the cameras. They do not support PoE. If you connect PoE cameras to the WiFi NVR, you will have to power them separately with a DC 12V power adapter.
2. Features
- Advanced WiFi 6 technology. Enjoy stable, high-speed data transfer and high-level security with WPA3.
- Easy installation. Wireless connection between the NVR and the cameras means no need for messy network cabling, simplifying the installation process.
- 24/7 recording with a built-in 2TB HDD. The RLN12W can only support one HDD. The maximum capacity supported is 16TB. If more storage space is needed, you can choose to replace the original HDD with a larger one.
- Compatibility with high-definition cameras.
- All Reolink PoE cameras and battery-free WiFi cameras (4MP/5MP/8MP/12MP) can work with the RLN12W. It supports up to 12 cameras.
-
RLN12W supports certain battery-powered cameras and allows you to add up to 16 battery cameras. You can refer to Introduction to Hardware Versions of Reolink NVRs to find out which battery-powered cameras are supported.
