A recovery email helps secure your Reolink account and ensures that you can always regain access if you forget your password or lose access to your primary email address. This guide will walk you through how to set up a recovery email and how to use it to reset your password.
Part 1: Set Up a Recovery Email

Log in to your Reolink account and go to Account Details > Security > Recovery Email. Click Edit.

Click Send Code, a verification code will be sent to your current email to verify it's you. Enter the code.

Enter your recovery email address. A verification code will be sent to that inbox—enter the code to confirm.
Once configured, the recovery email can be used if you forget your password or cannot access your original email address.
Part 2: Use Recovery Email to Reset Your Reolink Account Password

On the Reolink login page, click Lost your password.

Enter the email address linked to your Reolink account.

Choose the recovery email address to reset your password.

Enter your full recovery email address to verify your identity.

Check your recovery email inbox for a verification code, and input it.

Create a new password.

Once you see the confirmation message, your password reset is complete.
You can now log in to your Reolink account using your original email address and the new password.
Note: If you have enabled 2FA, please log in using 2FA verification method, enter the verification code from the Authenticator App.
