What is a legacy Cloud plan?

A legacy Cloud plan is a cloud plan that is no longer maintained.

For example, if Reolink launched a bunch of new Cloud plans on Jan. 1, 2023, then the previous plans that have been removed are called legacy plans (assuming this batch of legacy plans is Legacy Plan 2022). If you have subscribed to a plan of the Legacy Plan 2022 before, you can continue to use it. However, you are only allowed to:

  1. Cancel the plan
  2. Renew the plan
  3. Switch to another legacy plan (e.g. if you currently subscribe to the standard plan of the Legacy Plan 2022, you can switch to the premier plan of the Legacy Plan 2022)

Note: The operations above are only possible for legacy plans that are currently valid or legacy plans that have expired but are within 12 months.

How to switch from a legacy plan to the newest one?

To switch from your current legacy plan to the newest one, you need to:

  1. Cancel the legacy plan on Reolink's official website.
  2. Subscribe to the newest one.
