Does this camera support person detection?
Yes, this camera supports person detection.

Can this camera be used outdoors/indoors?
This camera can only be used indoors; it's designed for indoor usage. Do NOT install it outdoors (Even under an eave that is free from rain).

How can I power up this camera?
The camera can be powered by a 12V 1A DC power adapter (A 1.2-meter power adaptor and a 4.5m extension cable are shipped with the camera). You can check what is in the box at the end of the overview page.

Does the camera support cloud storage?
No. Currently, FE-W does not support cloud storage. You can save video clips to a micro SD card (up to 256GB), Reolink NVR, or FTP server. -
Does FE-W require a subscription?
No, you don't need a subscription for using this camera.

Can I connect the camera to my PoE NVR or PoE NVR system?
Yes, FE-W can be connected to Reolink PoE NVR in an indirect way. You can follow these steps to connect them:
Step 1: Connect the camera to a wifi router via wifi signals or an ethernet cable, and it needs to be powered via a power adapter.
Step 2: Connect the NVR to the same router by a network cable.
The NVR will pick up all the cameras on the same network. -
How can I install the Reolink Fisheye camera?
You can install this camera by 3 methods: ceiling mount, wall mount, or desktop mount.

Are the display modes on App/Client recordable?
No. But you can record the original fisheye view from the camera and playback the saved videos with any display mode on Reolink App/Client.

Can I get dewarped images when I'm only watching the monitor connected to NVR?
Yes. You can choose the 5-in-1 view mode for dewarped images on the monitor connected to NVR.
Note: When switching between the 5-in-1 view and the original fisheye view, the device will reboot, and the settings of privacy mask, detection zone, and object size will be cleared. -
Are the viewing modes on a monitor via NVR recordable?
Yes, both the original fisheye view and the 5-in-1 view that apply to monitoring via NVR are recordable.
Note: When switching between the 5-in-1 view and the original fisheye view, the device will reboot and the settings of privacy mask, detection zone, and object size will be cleared.
