NVR Interface Overview
Firmware Version after V3.6.3/ V3.6.5
To provide users with a more intuitive and efficient experience, Reolink introduced a redesigned NVR interface starting from firmware version V3.6.3 / V3.6.5. This interface focuses on simplifying navigation and making frequently used features accessible from the top bar, allowing smoother operation in daily monitoring and management.

Once your NVR is updated to the required firmware version, you will see the new UI as described below.
Part 1. Interface Modes
The NVR interface supports two display modes:

Window Mode: The top bar is visible for quick function switching. When using Window Mode, the top bar offers access to the following key features:
- Live View – View live video streams from your cameras.
- Playback – Review past recordings.
- Event History – View, analyze past video events.
- AI Video Search – Locate video clips with intelligent filtering.
- Backup – Export recordings to USB drive.
- Settings – Configure NVR settings.
- Full-Screen Mode: The top bar is hidden, providing an immersive monitoring experience.
You can easily switch between Window Mode and Full-Screen Mode by clicking the switch button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Part 2. Right-Side Controls of the Top Bar
On the right side of the top bar, you will find:
USB Device – Appears when a USB drive is inserted.

System Info – Displays your NVR’s model and firmware version.

Close/Exit – Provides Lock Screen, Shutdown, and Reboot.
Part 3. Bottom Bar

: Click to show cameras on the previous/next page.
: Turn to the next page automatically according to the set scroll view time.
: Click to display different multiple screens at the same time on the monitor.
: Click to lock the monitor screen.
: Switch between Window Mode and Full-Screen Mode.
Previous Firmware Versions (Before V3.6.3)
Right-click on the live view page to pop up the menu bar.

: Event History – View, analyze past video events.
: Playback -Review past recordings.
: Back up recordings.
: Enter the NVR settings page.
Camera Preview Icons
In the Preview Screen:
: The camera is currently recording to the NVR.
: The resolution set for the camera’s main stream.
: The camera is detection a motion. (For cameras with smart detection, this may display as a person/vehicle/animal icon or other corresponding detection type.)
: The camera is connecting to WiFi (only for WiFi cameras).
: The camera’s battery level (only for battery-powered cameras).
Left-click on the camera’s preview window to display the setting buttons. Below the preview screen, the setting buttons include:
: Event History - View and analyze past video events of this camera.
: Playback - Review past recordings of this camera.
: Start manual recording for the camera.
: Enable/disable the preview of this camera.
: Configure the image settings of the camera.
: Turn on/off sound when previewing the camera (requires an audio output device connected).
: Trigger the camera's spotlight to turn on/off (if supported).
: Trigger the camera's siren (if supported).
: Enter the camera settings page.
: Control PTZ (requires PTZ support; some cameras only support PT).
: Stretch the preview image to remove black borders.
: Expand from a single channel to dual-channel view (only supported by dual-lens cameras; does not occupy an additional channel). For TrackMix cameras, you can also switch between dual-image view to see both images simultaneously, or single-image view to choose between the wide-angle and tracking image.
: Quick reply (only supported by video doorbell cameras).
: Start talking (only supported by RLN36 with an audio input device connected).
