For cameras with the PTZ function, you can make the camera pan or tilt to change its viewing angle or use the optical zoom function to see more details. This article shows you how to use PTZ when accessing cameras on a web browser.

Note: Not all the cameras listed above fully support Pan&Tilt&Optical Zoom. See more details below:

  • Cameras that support PTZ: E1 Zoom, E1 Outdoor, E1 Outdoor PoE, E1 Outdoor Pro, RLC-523WA, RLC-823A, RLC-823A 16X, Reolink TrackMix PoE/WiFi, Reolink TrackMix Wired LTE (with network connection).
  • Cameras that only support Pan: RLC-81PA.
  • Cameras that only support Pan and Tilt: RLC-830A.
  • Cameras that only support Optical Zoom: RLC-511W, RLC-511WA, RLC-542WA, RLC-811A, RLC-822A, RLC-833A, RLC-842A.

Step 1. Input the IP Address of your camera on a web browser and log in to your camera.

Note: Make sure your PC is connected to the same router as your camera.

Step 2. Click the drop-down arrow of PTZ to unfold the PTZ menu on the Preview page.

Step 3. Control the camera to pan/tilt/zoom. The PTZ function may vary according to different camera models.

  • To control the Pan/Tilt, please click the directional arrows to manually control the viewing angle of the camera. Click the button in the middle so the camera will spin itself automatically, then click it again to stop the auto scan.

  • Click "+" or "-" icon to adjust the Pan/Tilt speed on the Speed bar.
