For Reolink Video Doorbell cameras, they can alert you via push notifications and emails on your phone when the camera is triggered by a Visitor (someone presses the doorbell button). Here is how to set it up via Reolink App.
Applies to: Reolink Video Doorbell PoE, Reolink Video Doorbell WiFi, Reolink Video Doorbell (Battery).
Please install the latest Reolink App on your phone in advance.
Note: If you configured your camera following the steps below, you will only get push notifications and alarm emails only when a Visitor presses the doorbell camera. The camera still detects people's motions and other motions but will not alert you.
1. Setting up Visitor Push Notifications.
Step 1. Launch Reolink App and log in to your camera. Tap the gear icon to enter the Device Settings page. Tap Push Notifications to enter the push settings page.
Step 2. Switch ON Push Notification first. Then tap Schedule.
Step 3. Tap the Visitor button to make it blue. Make other alarm types (Person/Any Motion) stays grey. Then tap the bar of the day (for example, Sunday) to set up a push schedule.
Step 4. Tap on the grid (each one stands for one hour of 24 hours) to tick Enable/Disable.
- The blue grid means you will receive push notifications during that hour when someone presses the doorbell button. Grey means none.
- If you want to copy such settings to other days, just tap on the corresponding day button to make it blue-framed.
Step 5. Go back to the Push Schedule page and tap Save to save the settings.
If someone presses the doorbell button, you will receive a push notification on your phone like this:
