How to Set up Pre-Motion Recording via Web Browsers

You can enable pre-motion recording for your camera or NVR via a web browser. Please follow the guide below to set it up.

Applies to: All Reolink cameras and NVRs except for battery-powered cameras, E1, E1 Pro, Lumus, and cameras in NVR kit.

Step 1. Input the IP Address of your camera/NVR on a web browser and log in to your camera/NVR. Then click the Device Settings gear icon on the top right corner.

Note: Make sure your PC is connected to the same router as your camera/NVR.

Step 2. Go to the Surveillance > Record page. Click the button to enable Pre-Motion Record(turn it blue).

Notes:

• Pre-Motion Record: The camera will start to record before the alarm event happens, and the pre-recording will last 4-8 seconds according to different models and hardware versions.
• You need to Enable Record first before enabling Pre-Motion Record.
