If you are in a country or region that uses DST(Daylight Saving Time) during the summer months, you can set your camera to use DST to avoid confusion.
Applies to: All Reolink cameras and NVRs.
Below are instructions on how to set up DST for your camera/NVR via Reolink Client. Before setting it up, you need to install the latest Reolink Client on your PC.
Step 1. Launch Reolink Client and log in to your camera/NVR, and click the Device Settings gear icon.
Step 2. Go to System > Date & Time. Click the time settings icon below.
Step 3. Scroll down on the page and turn on the DST button to enable DST. Now you need to configure each parameter for DST. After finishing the settings, make sure you click Confirm.
- Offset refers to the number of hours added to the current time. You can choose 1 hour or 2 hours.
- Start Time refers to when the DST settings take effect. You can specify the month, week, day, hour, minute, and second.
- End Time refers to when the DST settings stop. Then DST will be disabled automatically.
Step 4. Check if the Modified Time is consistent with your settings. Then click Confirm.
Step 5. Check if the Current Time has been changed accordingly.
Note: If you don't want the camera to observe summertime anymore, please turn off the DST button in Step 3.
