If you want the camera to record motion events or record continuously, you can choose to install a microSD card into your camera in advance. This article will show you how to install a microSD card for cameras like RLC-823A 16X, RLC-823S1, etc. Check out the detailed information below.
Note: Before installing/uninstalling the SD card, please power off the camera first, in case it will damage the SD card.
Step 1. Rotate the camera lens to find and unscrew the cover of the SD card slot. Use the pry tool to pry open the cover if the unscrewed cover is still attached to the SD card slot.
Step 2. Insert a micro SD card (up to 256GB) into the SD card slot with the pin side down. Use your fingernail or the reset needle to push the SD card until you hear a click sound, which means the SD is secured and will not pop out.
