How to Adjust the Brightness for Reolink Cameras

Adjusting the brightness on your Reolink cameras can help optimize video quality in different lighting conditions. This guide will show you how to easily modify the brightness settings for clear, sharp footage.

Applies to: All Reolink cameras except for Argus 2 and Argus Pro.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Via Reolink App

Launch the Reolink App and log in to your device. Go to Device Settings > Display > Image Settings. Slide the slider to adjust the Brightness of the camera. The higher the value, the brighter the image will be.
Via Reolink Client

Launch the Reolink Client and log in to your device. Go to Device Settings > Display> Advanced page. Adjust the Brightness by sliding the slider. The higher the value, the brighter the image will be.
Via Reolink Web browser

Applies to: All Reolink cameras and NVRs (exclude battery-powered cameras, Reolink Lumus, Reolink E1, and Reolink E1 Pro).

Log in to your device via Web Browser. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner to open Device Settings. Go to Device > Display, scroll down to find an option named "Advanced", click it. Adjust the Brightness using the slider. The higher the value, the brighter the image will be.
Via Monitor (Reolink NVR with New UI)

Applies to: NVR with new UI.

Locate the menu bar on the monitor (the menu bar may be at the top or bottom depending on your NVR version; please refer to your specific NVR interface). Go to Settings > Camera, select your camera, then click Display > Image Settings. Adjust the Brightness by sliding the slider. The higher the value, the brighter the image will be.
Via Monitor (Reolink NVR with Old UI)

Applies to: RLN4-410 (hardware version H3MB17), RLN8-410 (hardware version H3MB02), RLN8-410-E, RLN16-410 (hardware version H3MB02/H3MB06)

Step 1. Launch your Reolink NVR and log in to your device. On the live view page, left-click on the screen to bring up the bottom sheet settings menu, then click the sun icon to go to the settings page.

Step 2. Adjust the Brightness by sliding the slider. The higher the value, the brighter the image will be.

Step 3. Alternatively, you can right-click on the live view page and click the house icon at the bottom left to enter the menu.

Step 4. Then, go to Display > Camera, and click "Set" next to "Image Settings" to access the image settings page.
