If the alarm delay function is enabled, the objects won't trigger the alarm until they stay in the detection zone longer than a set time. In this article, we will show you how to set up alarm delay for your camera via an NVR monitor.
Applies to: RLN8-410, RLN16-410, and RLN36.
Please note that this operation could only be done on NVRs with the hardware version N2MB02, N3MB01, N7MB01, H3MB18, N6MB01, and N5MB01.
Step 1. Log in to your camera on the NVR monitor and enter the live-view page. Click the Settings icon on the screen.
Step 2. Go to Camera > Detection page. Click the blue Alarm Delay.
Step 3. Slide the slider of the blue bars to adjust the maximum stay time (0-8s) for each detection object type. Please note that different cameras may differ in the detection object type.
For example, as shown in the picture above, a pet detected by the camera won't trigger the alarm unless it stays in the detection area for more than 3 seconds.
