Siren refers to the audio alarm of the camera. It could be triggered for notice or deterrence. For cameras connected to the NVR, you could set up Siren for them on the NVR monitor.
Applies to: RLN8-410, RLN16-410, and RLN36.
Note: the guides below could only be operated on Reolink NVRs with New UI. You can check out if the hardware version of your NVR is N2MB02, N3MB01, N5MB01, N6MB01, N7MB01, or H3MB18.
Step 1. Log in to your camera on the NVR monitor, and click the Settings gear icon on the Preview page.
Step 2. Go to Surveillance > Siren. Click Daily Schedule under the Siren option.
Step 3. Set up Siren Schedule for your camera.
- Click the drag-down menu to choose the channel your camera is occupying.
- Click on the switch button to enable the siren (the switch will be in blue). If you want to disable the siren for this camera, click again to turn it black
- Tick the checkbox under Alarm to select the motion type that will trigger the siren.
- Click or drag your mouse on the grid (one stands for one hour) to set up a weekly time schedule for the siren. Blue/grey grids mean the siren is enabled/disabled during those hours.
For example, the picture below shows that the siren of RLC-823A will go off when a Person or Vehicle is detected during 06:00-20:00 on weekdays.
If you want to copy the siren settings to other cameras connected to the NVR, click Applies to Other Camera(s). Tick the camera channel of the camera, or click All at the top right corner to copy the same siren settings to all the cameras. Then click Continue.
