Siren refers to the audio alarm of the camera. It could be triggered for notice or deterrence. For cameras connected to the NVR, you could set up Siren for them on the NVR monitor.

Applies to: RLN8-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N2MB02/N3MB01/N7MB01), RLN16-410 (hardware version H3MB18/N6MB01), RLN36 and RLN12W.

Step 1. Log in to your camera on the NVR monitor, and click the Settings gear icon on the Preview page.

Step 3. Set up Siren Schedule for your camera.

  • Click the drag-down menu to choose the channel your camera is occupying.
  • Click on the switch button to enable the siren (the switch will be in blue). If you want to disable the siren for this camera, click again to turn it grey.
  • Tick the checkbox under Alarm to select the motion type that will trigger the siren.
  • Click or drag your mouse on the grid (one stands for one hour) to set up a weekly time schedule for the siren. Blue/grey grids mean the siren is enabled/disabled during those hours.
