To improve the security of your camera, you could enable illegal login lockout to lock the account for a while after entering the wrong password several times.

Applies to: All Reolink WiFi and PoE cameras that support smart detection (except for RLC-1212A and Duo WiFi/PoE)

When the Illegal Login Lockout is enabled, if the login password is input wrongly several times (about 10 times) within 3 minutes, the account will be locked for 5 minutes. Below are guides on how to enable/disable this function via Reolink App and Reolink Client.

Set up Illegal Login Lockout via Reolink App

Step 1. Launch Reolink App and log in to your camera. Tap the Device Settings gear icon to enter the  Settings page. Scroll down to tap Advanced.
