If you want to block out some areas on the image of your camera, you may resort to the Privacy Mask function. Here is a guide for you to learn how to set up privacy masks for your camera on a web browser.

Applies to: All Reolink cameras except battery-powered cameras, E1, E1 Pro, Lumus, and added-on cameras.

Step 1. Log in to your camera on a web browser. Click the Device Settings gear icon at the upper right corner.

Step 2. Go to Camera > Display. Click Set Up under Privacy Mask.

Step 3. Locate your cursor at the place you want to block out. Left-click the mouse and drag to draw a black rectangle over the wanted area. For example, the two black rectangles covering the tree and the floor in the picture below:

  • Select one rectangle and click the Trash Can icon to delete it.
  • Click Delete All to remove all the drawn privacy masks at once.
  • Click Save if you have finished setting up the privacy mask.

Done! You can turn back to the previewing page to see if there are privacy masks on the live-view image.

Note: You may draw up to 4 privacy masks for one camera. For TrackMix WiFi/PoE and Duo WiFi/PoE, the maximum number of privacy masks will be 8 (4 for each lens).
