Besides online upgrading, the WiFi battery-powered cameras can also support manual upgrading. Below are the detailed steps for your reference.

Applies to: Reolink WiFi battery-powered cameras with smart detection

Step 1. Copy the firmware file to an SD card.

Insert the micro SD card in the micro SD card reader (Make sure your SD card is 16GB or 32 GB in FAT 32 format) and plug it into the computer. Please create a folder named upgrade, then put the firmware into this folder.

Step 2. Insert the SD card into the camera and then make sure that the camera is saying the welcome voice prompt.

If the camera is not saying welcome voice prompt, please use a reset needle or something sharp (like a toothpick) to hold the reset button for about 2 seconds.

Step 3. Turn off the switch and then turn it on the switch.

You will hear the upgrade voice prompt. The red LED will stay solid for around 100s, and blink for the next 120s.

Step 4. After successfully upgrading the firmware, please take the SD card out.

Delete the upgrading file, or format the SD card via the camera, in case the camera will enter the upgrading mode again when it’s reset to factory default.
