1. Tracking Type
Tracking type refers to the type of objects that you want the camera to track. There are three options: person, vehicle, and pet (E1 outdoor does not have pet detection). You can choose more than one type according to your demands.
2. Horizontal Tracking Range
If you only need the camera to track moving objects at a certain range, you can set up horizontal tracking range for it.
Under Horizontal Tracking Range, please click Set Up, click the arrows to rotate the camera lens and set up a leftmost tracking position. Then click Confirm. Next. and continue to set up a rightmost tracking position. After that, the camera will only track the specific tracking type within this range.
3. Tracking Schedule
If you only want the camera to track the specific tracking type within a certain period of time, you can set up tracking schedule for it.
Under Schedule, please click Enable and choose the time that you want the auto-tracking function to work, then click Save to save the configurations. If a grid is colored blue, that means this time period is enabled.
4. Time to Stop Tracking
Object Stops
When the object stops inside the tracking area, the camera will stay at the last tracking position for a certain time (varies from 10 to 20 seconds). With the latest beta firmware version, you can customize the time to for the camera stop tracking when the object stops inside the monitoring area.
For example, if you set the Object Stops time to 20 seconds, the camera will stay at the last tracking position for 20 seconds. After that, it will return back to the monitor point (if any).
Object Disappears
When the object disappears from the tracking area, the camera will continue to track the next moving object (no matter if it is the original one) if any. However, if there are no other objects appear, the camera will stay at the last tracking position for a certain time, then return back to the monitor point (if any).
For example, if you set the Object Disappears time to 10 seconds, when the object disappears, the camera will stay at the last tracking position for 10 seconds. If there are no other moving objects during this period, the camera will return back to the monitor point (if any).
