This article introduces the differences between hard reset and software restore.
Applies to: All Reolink cameras and NVRs
Restore is an operation on Reolink App/Client that can be done remotely even when you are not next to your Reolink device.
Hard reset means pressing the reset button on the device body. It can only be done when you have physical access to the device.
Though these two operations serve a similar purpose to bring the Reolink device back to its default settings, there are certain differences between them.
