This article intends to guide you through the setup of linking Reolink IoT devices to Reolink cameras via NVR with a monitor connected. Please follow the guide step by step.
Applies to: Floodlight PoE/WiFi, RLN8-410, and RLN16-410.
Note: Please make sure your NVR supports IoT devices. If you are not sure, refer to this article: Which NVR Supports Reolink IoT Devices
Step 1. Click the Settings gear icon on the NVR live view page.
Step 2. Go to the IoT page. Click Add to select IoT device(s) and enter its password. You could also enable Auto Add so that the NVR will add the IoT devices in LAN automatically. Then click the device.
Step 3. Go to Linked Device(s) page. Then click Add.
Step 4. Link a camera to your floodlight. The picture below takes TrackMix PoE as an example:
So the logic of this linkage is:
If the TrackMix PoE detects a person or pet motion in the time period from 00:00 to 23:59 on weekdays, then the Floodlight WiFi will react like this: Light is on for 30 seconds, and the default Alarm goes off.
You could customize all the parameters above based on your needs. Don't forget to click Save after finishing the setting.
Step 5. You can edit or delete the linkage you've just set up. You could also Add another linkage.
