This article will take TrackMix PoE as an example. Before setting up, please make sure you have enabled the HTTP or HTTPS port for your camera. If you don't know how to enable them, refer to this article: How to Set up Reolink Ports Settings via Reolink Client (New Client).
Note: To get the Horizontal Tracking Range, Tracking Schedule, and Time to Stop Auto Tracking settings, please upgrade your camera to the firmware version v3.1.0.1584_2212 or later. If you can not find the related firmware for your camera in the download center, you may contact Reolink Support for help.
Set up Auto Tracking Type, Method, and Horizontal Tracking Range.
Step 1. Log in to your camera on a web browser and click the Device Settings gear icon on the top right corner.
Step 2. Go to Alarm Settings and enable Auto Tracking.
You can decide the tracking type by ticking the checkbox correspondingly.
Step 3. Click the drag-down to choose a tracking method for your camera. There are three tracking methods for Reolink TrackMix series cameras.
Note: Different camera models may have different tracking methods. Here is an article that introduces the different auto-tracking methods. Click: Introduction of Tracking Methods for TrackMix Series Cameras
Step 4. Click the drag-down on Horizontal Tracking Range.
Click Set Up to set up the left end and the right end respectively by controlling the PTZ wheel panel.
Step 5. Click Save and you have successfully set up the horizontal tracking range. If you want to reset it, please click Clear and repeat the previous step.
Set up Auto Tracking Schedule.
Click the drag-down of Schedule. Select Enable/Disable and click the grid (each representing one hour).
Or you can drag the cursor to enable or disable the grid quickly.
When the grid is blue, it means the camera will automatically track the object in that hour once triggered.
For example, the schedule above means the camera will not track automatically from 0:00 to 14:00 on Tuesday.
Set up a Time to Stop Auto Tracking.
Click the drag-down on Object Stops and on Object Disappears.
You can decide when the camera stops tracking after the object stops moving and after the object disappears from the camera's view.
