To enable the camera to automatically return to monitor a specific location, such as your garden, after it has panned or tilted in other directions, you can set up a monitoring point.

Via Reolink App
Step 1. Launch Reolink App. Then tap the device thumbnail picture to enter the Live View page. Here is an example of TrackMix.
Step 2. Tap the PTZ icon on the Live View page. Aim your camera at the position you want to set as the monitor point.
Step 3. Tap the
icon to set up a monitor point.
- Tap Reset Monitor Point to set the current position as the monitor position.
- Tap Return to Monitor Point and the camera will immediately turn back to the monitor point.
- Enable Auto Return to Monitor Point: The camera will return to the monitor point automatically when the camera stops panning or tilting.
- Intervals: Time duration (10-300 seconds) between the camera stopping panning or tilting and the camera automatically returning to the monitor point.
Note: Before the first time you set up the monitor point, you need to calibrate the camera.
Only certain models support the calibration feature. If you do not see this option, you can disregard it. Alternatively, you can click the link above to learn more about the models that support calibration.
Tap the three blue dots icon and then tap Calibration. Wait until the camera finishes calibration.

Step 1. Click the PTZ button on the live-view page, and use the arrows and the zoom buttons to aim your camera's view at a specific area that you want to set as a monitor position.
Step 2. Click Monitor Point. Click Reset Monitor Point to set the current position as the monitor point.
- Return to Monitor Point: Click it and your camera will return to the monitor point immediately.
- Auto: Enable it so that your camera will return to the monitor point after the camera stop panning or tilting.
- Intervals: Time duration (10-300 seconds) between the camera stopping pan/tilt and the camera returning to the monitor point.
Note: Before the first time you set up the monitor point, you need to use Calibration. Only certain models support the calibration feature. If you do not see this option, you can disregard it.
During calibration, the PTZ function is disabled temporarily.

Step 1. Input the IP Address of your Reolink device on a web browser and log in to your Reolink device.

Step 2. Click the drop-down arrow to unfold the PTZ menu on the live-view page, and use the pan/tilt/zoom function to aim your camera's view at a specific area that you want to set as a monitor point. Then click Monitor Point.
Step 3. Now you will enter the monitor point settings page.
- The image is the place your camera is directed at. If not, click it to refresh the image.
- Click Reset Monitor Point to set the current position as the monitor point.
- Return to Monitor Point: Click it and your camera will return to the monitor point immediately.
- Auto: Enable it so that your camera will return to the monitor point after the camera stops panning or tilting.
- Intervals: Time interval (10-300 seconds) between the camera stopping pan/tilt and the camera returning to the monitor point.

Step 1. Enter the live-view page of your camera, and click the PTZ icon to call the PTZ menu.
Step 2. Aim your camera at a specific area with the help of the arrows on the PTZ panel. After determining the desired monitoring area, click the three black dots button of the Monitor Point.
Step 3. Set up the monitor point.
- Click
to set the current point as the monitor point.
- Click
so the camera will return to the monitor point immediately upon your click.
- Click
to adjust the time interval (from 10 to 300 seconds) for the camera to return to the monitor point automatically. For example, the picture below means that the camera will return to the monitor point in 20 seconds after the camera stops panning/tilting/zooming.
- Click
to enable Auto Return mode and click again to disable it.
